No, these “After” photos aren’t from HGTV - they’re from real homeowners like you who used RenoFi.

Some homeowners wait years for a home they really love, but then others - like Joanne & David in Malvern or Ken & Katie in Ardmore - decided not to. They wanted their kids to grow up in that someday home, so they came to RenoFi for help. Here are their stories:

Story#1

Turning an old split-level into a modern open concept Joanne & David realized that finding an updated home in the $500k-$600k range in Malvern is nearly impossible. So they figured instead of leaving the area they love, they’d put that money into making an older split-level fit their growing family’s needs.

The Project Open up the entire first floor, knocking down walls between the kitchen, living, and dining areas, while completely redoing the outdated kitchen.

The Process “It just made sense for us to go that way with such a large price tag of a renovation; that we would take it out of the equity of this home which has appreciated so much in the three years that we’ve been here." “RenoFi was really great. Justin was so helpful in making the connection for us with a Credit Union, especially since it was something we hadn’t even considered… We were able to get less expensive funding to do the renovation from a source we didn’t even know existed.”

That’s where RenoFi comes in. We help you get your someday home, today. And do it in the most financially responsible way possible.

Story#2

Increased borrowing power without refinancing into a higher rate When Ken & Katie purchased their starter home in Ardmore, they didn’t expect to fall in love with the area like they did. So when their family grew to four, they realized they had a few options: settle for a neighborhood they didn’t love, buy a bigger home than they really needed, or turn their starter into a forever home.

The Project Build a spacious two-story addition off the back of their home with an all-new Master Suite upstairs and large, live-in kitchen below.

The Process With a first mortgage rate of less than 4%, a solution that didn’t require refinancing was key. Since a renovation home equity loan allowed them to borrow money based on the home’s post-renovation value, Ken & Katie were able to dramatically increase their borrowing power and keep that awesome rate locked in. “RenoFi allows you to input the information regarding what you’re trying to do and get a quick sense of like how much your monthly payments go up and all those other important questions you have. They give you a very tangible piece of information to make decisions off of.”

Before After

“Knowing this loan will boost the appraisal value of the home, confirms that the money we’re putting in is worth it. And the type of loan that we got gave us the confidence that that was in fact true. I’m not guessing at what our future appraisal will be.”

You only raise your family once, so do it in a home you love. No more waiting
